Today I’m reflecting on the life and legacy of Rev Jesse Jackson. His commitment to justice, opportunity, and lifting our communities made a lasting impact on so many of us.

My senior year in the early 90s, I was honored to be part of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition Ascension to Womanhood program. They took a group of us young women to Washington DC and poured leadership, purpose, and confidence into us. That experience helped shape the woman and leader I am today.

Grateful for the seeds that were planted. Grateful for the example he set.

Rest peacefully Rev Jackson. Your legacy lives on.

Blessed. Focused. Prosperous season loading.

Walking by faith, smiling big, and trusting God every step. Cute shoes, strong vision, and gratitude for how far He has brought me.

We kicked off the week celebrating Black History Month with learning, stories, music, crafts, and meaningful activities that help our children grow proud and curious about the world around them. 🌍📚

AND on top of that… we had two birthday celebrations this week! 🎉🎂

So it’s been a beautiful mix of:

⭐ Smiles
⭐ Cake crumbs (of course)
⭐ And lots of love in our classroom
