Why network marketing is the perfect part-time income.

Imagine your wife is going to give birth to your first child any day or evening now, and you have a part-time job as a night security guard. You can’t leave your job and leave the premises unprotected when you get that important telephone call that your wife has gone to the hospital to give birth.

However, if your part-time income was network marketing, and you got that important telephone call during the opportunity meeting, you could announce your reason for leaving the meeting and everyone would applaud.

Network marketing is flexible, provides time freedom, and surrounds you with positive people who want to do more in their life. Yes, network marketing can be the perfect part-time income.

How to approach tough prospects rejection-free.

“In order to participate, or take control of a conversation, you must disagree with the other person.”

Why? Because if everyone agreed, it would be a boring world. One person would talk, and everyone would just nod their heads and agree.

This means, never tell prospects they have a bad job. If you do, the prospects will disagree and defend their current job or opportunity.

I had this all wrong when I started. I thought I would get prospects interested by telling them they had a terrible job. But, it is just the opposite.

Instead, always say how wonderful their job or opportunity must be. Now they will disagree and tell you how awful it is ... and you have created a great prospect.

Remember when you first heard, "Sales is a numbers game." Somebody said that to you because you had called 25 people with absolutely no success. What they meant was, "Keep on swinging. Eventually you'll hit one." Unfortunately, they did not have your best interest in mind. They wanted to keep you around a few more weeks before you gave up and they had to train another unknowing suspect.

With this thinking, if you want to make one sale, you've got to make 100 calls. Two sales, 200 calls. The problem with that is if you want to make 10 sales, you've got to make 1000 calls. Who has time to make that many calls? Can you see how this approach can limit you?

I believe in working smarter, not harder. Instead of grunt work, which is what cold prospecting is, wouldn't you rather spend your time talking with qualified prospects that need you and want you to call them?

Why on earth would you willingly spend your time searching under rocks for those people, and then begging them for a few minutes on the phone?
Would you rather be able to follow up with a prospect who has already contacted you and get most of them to spend time with you on the phone?
