Early this week we partnered with Chicago FarmWorks to setup compost bins at their Albany and Kedzie gardens.

This past week we enjoyed a great day helping with expansion at The Mercy Garden of Peace and Healing in Austin. We filled new raised beds with planting mix and top dressed with leaf mulch.

Last week we worked with Gary Comer Youth Center farm staff grinding up trimmings from their amazing urban farm and rooftop garden!

This past week we cleaned up last year's trimmings and leaves at a Frank Lloyd Wright home in Oak Park. We're excited to set up bins to prepare for end of summer and Fall!

Tuesday, we spent the morning applying compost at Radio Flyers Great Lawn. This is a natural alternative to chemical fertilizers for their employee gathering area. Thanks to The Mulch Center for the compost/top dressing mix.
