The recent cVs & cVsAA State of the Palace Summit Meeting 2025 was truly remarkable.

Last week, we experienced an excellent and memorable time, during which we had the privilege of hearing from our

Principal & Alumna Dr. Taylor, as well as
Additionally, we were pleased to receive updates from our Assistant Principal, Dr. Philip Watson, who shared information about his responsibilities at CVS.

A highlight of his presentation was the initiative to reintroduce aviation, initially as a small program, with the goal of ensuring our students are well-rounded individuals capable of flying planes, drones, and understanding aviation mechanics.

There is even the possibility of having a plane on our campus in the future.

Our mission remains focused on making a meaningful difference.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended, including community members, business leaders, alumni, and former staff members who returned to join us.

Great news! Talk radio WVON 1690 AM host, Robert McKay, will be joining us on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 4 PM - 6 PM for our cVs & cVsAA state of the Palace summit meeting Robert is a passionate advocate for vocational education for both high school students and adults, and he truly values community engagement. We hope you can join us!

Wow, more excellent news. cVs & cVsAA State of the Palace summit meeting, featuring our distinguished Dr. Carl West from the cVs class of 1989. Dr. West is also a radio personality with Talk Radio WVON 1690 AM, where he hosts a segment called ‘Wealth Building Mechanism. ‘ He will be joining us to observe the remarkable developments at the Palace/CVS and to share his insights on how we can collectively continue to support our school.
