Lambda Nu Chapter - Fall 2019.

Cancer is no longer something distant, or something that impacts only a small sliver of our society. Today, as the rates of diagnoses continue to increase, cancer has become a pervasive, and horrendous disease that has hurt nearly every family, and community around the world. It is a rarity in 2018 to find someone who does not have a family member, or friend who has been diagnosed - or worse, has been diagnosed themselves. Due to this, and the continued increase of diagnoses, the community at Loyola University Chicago and the brothers of Sigma Chi Lambda Nu have banded around the Huntsman Cancer Institute, and has pledged to raise $50,000 this year in the hopes of funding a new clinical trial and becoming the generation to end cancer. With your help we can achieve that goal. Anything helps! Thank you in advance. Please share this if you could.

Today is which is a movement to create an international day of giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season. One way our chapter gives back today is by donating and supporting our fraternity's philanthropic partner, the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Established in 2012, the institute is focused on raising money and awareness for cancer research in order that we may become the generation to end cancer.
We encourage you to join us in raising awareness for this cause today in the spirit of !
