Play & Work : Flow into Fire Alchemy Prompt #2
(Join me in the flow challenge! Mainly I'm posting on IG, so flow there)

Play is a pathway to opening joy, an expansive and rapid form of lighthearted learning that requires our brain faster than anything else. It's engaging and fun… and often pops us into flow state.

Work is a devotion to a goal, applied active energy and focus towards a desired result. Here, we exert our lifeforce with fervor to accomplish a long or short term vision.

Mentally, we often stigmatize play as easy good fun and work as hard drudgery. However, can we reimagine an integration of the two, and prioritize play as a de-colonializing action (as in, replacing work as the most prized and needed action, and restructure playfulness and a little disorder into our flow practice and days?)

Activation:
In your life, notice the intersection of Work & Play. Can you interchange the two and flip your script?

Choose a movement or a technique to ‘work’ on for the week. Notice your mindscape as you engage. Actively infuse play moments into work focus and see what happens- follow the flow and trust where you go.

Record yourself at a few points in the process with videos and reflections and notice what emerges. :)
