This is a great lesson for children and adults!!! Yes you can draw! (Secret: everyone can) it's all about learning little tricks of the pen stroke to convey an idea or shape to the brain. The bigger secret is that we can do so much more than draw! Our brains and ego are always telling us "you can't do that" or "you'd be rubbish" or worse yet "they'll all laugh" then you feel 😔 and give up. But you and your children are limitless!! It's all about taking the small steps every day that turn into big strides in your life. Start small and keep going!!!

It's that time of year - get things growing!! Kids of all ages can be so fascinated about growing veggies and fruits. It's important to show them where their food comes from, what it means to be nurturing and the rewards that come from such care. 🌱 Even if you don't have a garden or growing space, you can still teach this valuable lesson. ❤️

Today we're learning about our emotions and how to recognize/express facial cues. We made emoticons on paper, with a black market and cut them out. Then we modge podged them on wooden rounds. Our new emoticoins are going to help us learn about all the different things that we may feel inside and what tell our grownups when they ask. ❤️ 😁🤣😯☺️😎🤒
