This is the official page for Logan Square Elementary School. Our average class size is 23.8 -Kdg.; 23.8 -Gr.1; 23.6 -Gr.3; 23.6 -Gr.6 and 25.8 -Gr.8.
James Monroe Elementary School is located in the West Logan Square Community with a current student enrollment of 984 students, preschool through eighth grade. Our racial/ethnic composition is 90.2 % Hispanic, 2.7% Caucasian, 3.2% African-American and . 2% Asian Pacific. 13% of our students receive Special Education Services on an IEP. GRATITUDE: we hope you find time to say thank you to our teachers this week. They have lead our school to success after success, our children to opportunity to opportunity, and partnered with our families time after time. We know times are tough lately so it’s so important to rely on one another.
