We worked with Jose and team and were delighted with his service.
We had Jose provide a pipe and drape and uplighting for Floating World Gallery.
We also used Jose for Ceremony rentals, chairs etc, and for reception rentals, chairs, tables, centerpieces, all dining utensils, catering equipment (as our caterer did not have these items), bartenders, servers, cleaning crew.
His prices are very fair and significantly lower than some of the other vendors and rentals we looked at.
Jose is very thorough and gives you all the details and itemizes all costs when making your wedding decisions, he is consultative and is always educating.
Jose worked well with everyone, from the events manager at the gallery and his staff and the caterer and other vendors.
Jose did not miss a detail on the day and we appreciate all of his hard work, he is a true professional loves what he does, and does a great job across the board.

Three words: Jose. Is. Great.

I'm on the board of a small non-profit performing arts ensemble in Chicago and every year we hold a benefit fundraiser that includes a silent auction, cocktails, snacks, and a performance. Every year that I've done this event, dealing with a caterer has been a mixed bag of emotions and disappointment. That is, until this year.

Our event was smallish (110 people) but Jose gave us great advice and guidance on everything from the design of the room to the dishes we should order to make our event successful and cohesive while also satisfying as many differing tastes as possible. We went with passed and buffet-style appetizers and a bar package that included everything you could hope for in terms of booze.

The food was delicious (and also beautifully presented), the drinks well-poured, and the look of the room from draping and up-lights to table linens and guest seating truly transformed the already cool gallery space into a beautiful, sophisticated event space. The staff on hand during the event were professional and efficient.

All of this is great and we loved it but what set Millenium apart for me was working with Jose prior to the event. Easy-going, helpful, patient, and flexible. We had to adjust our numbers several times to accommodate last-minute reservations and he was incredibly nimble in both helping us adjust our orders and arranging for how to pay for these additions.

And don't let me forget about one of the main factors that sells me on Millenium: AFFORDABILITY. For what we received, I was floored at how reasonable the prices were. It really allowed us to put on a very impressive event within a pretty tight budget.

As other reviewers noted, we did a lot of business by text but I actually liked that very much as it might have been the mechanism that allowed him to be so flexible and it also made me feel like I could get in touch with him easily to resolve questions or issue I thought might need immediate attention.

Our guests overwhelmingly loved the food (the meatballs were the big winner of the night!) and atmosphere which, in turn, paid off for us in our fundraising efforts. We'll definitely be back to Millenium for future events and I can't say this enough: you should too!
