Golgotha Lutheran School

Linda Jones mentioned Golgotha Church last year with a 1934 Confirmation Class photo. She wrote "My Mom just passed away. Found this picture of her brother, Wilbur's class of 1934. Golgotha Ev. Lutheran Church 67th and Marquette. They used to live on 66th and Wolcott.. My Mom and her brothers attended the school there.. My Grandma Kloppmann was very involved with the church along with my Uncle Wilbur.. I can remember walking to the church as a kid."

Because of the COVID-19 Lock Down I have stayed at home. With so much time on my hands I scanned in over 2,800 photos, albums & documents. When I got to my mother's things I found three items from my days at Golgotha Lutheran School.
I took the third item, our 1963 Group Photo at the Capital Building in Springfield Illinois and made a collage adding names and a photo from near present day.

When I got to my mother's things I found this photo memory from 7th Grade at Golgotha Lutheran School in 1963. It had some signatures which I blocked out the last names of those living to protect their full signature and added the missing names.
