The mission of the James Conklin Memorial Scholarship is to honor an aspiring comedian with the means to attend the iO Summer Intensive.
The mission of the James Conklin Memorial Scholarship is to support members of the Chicago comedy community through directly funding their creative projects, training, and providing relief to individuals in the community during times of hardship. Each recipient will receive $3,000 to go towards classes, housing, transportation, and other necessities during the five weeks of the intensive. You can

The 2023 JCMS scholarship show is happening THIS SATURDAY!! Tickets are $20 and support our JCMS scholars. We hope to see you there!
The 2023 James Conklin Memorial Scholarship is now closed! Thank you to all who have applied. We will be getting back to you on May 11th! Our 2024 application will go live in January and we hope to see you then if you didn't get a chance to apply this year.
