☔️ April showers bring... LOTS of lindy hop goodness your way! 😍 Here's what we've got cooked up for this month so far:
📚 April weekly classes begin 4/6, and we've got some new classes for our higher levels like Advanced Solo Jazz (learn Norma Miller's "Trickeration"), Musicality, Changing Hands Plus, and Advanced Plus Swingouts! 😍
🤩 A special guest instructor workshop Sat 4/11 from 2-4pm with Bryan Soto from Minneapolis and .kapaku! This Advanced Plus workshop is all about "Sharing Your Voice" and finding more ways to express how you hear the music, and make your social dancing more conversational.
🪩 April 11th is also our monthly social dance and namesake, Traffic Jam! Join us at 7:45pm for a beginner lesson then social dancing from 8:30pm-12am for just $10
🎶 Rush Hour, our LIVE MUSIC dance, is back in April! Join us for an evening if social dancing to the Joel Patterson Trio for just $15. Lesson at 7:45, social dancing 8:30pm-12am
🏳️🌈 Q***r Swing Chicago has their next monthly dance at our studio on Sunday 4/26 with social dancing to LIVE MUSIC by the Rutsy Gates! Beginner lesson at 6pm, social dancing 7-9:30pm. Allies welcome!

🍀 Lucky you, Chicago! We have a bunch of cool things coming up this month and we hope you'll join us 👯
🗓️ Registration for , our annual weekend long festival, opens up on SUNDAY 3/8!!! 8 hrs of workshops with talented instructors from all over the country and social dancing to and the Midwest All Stars (if you bought the album you know how great they are!) 😍 We SOLD OUT last year so don't miss out on snagging your ticket!!
🪩 Our monthly social dance "Traffic Jam!" is Saturday 3/14! $10 for a drop in beginner lesson and social dancing until midnight. Bring a friend or come solo and join in!
🤓 Open practice is BACK this month with on Friday 3/20 from 5-7pm! Come use the studio space for just $5 and get to work on class material, a new move, rhythm, or whatever you'd like!
🏳️🌈 Q***r Swing Chicago is back this month for their 4th Sunday of the month social dance with a LIVE BAND! $20 (sliding scale available at the door), allies welcome!
💃Ballroomin is BACK, baby! Join Bob and Melissa for an intermediate ballroomin workshop (previous experience required!) and stick around for a NEW social dance: "the Sunday Slowdown" 😍 never danced slow before? Don't worry, there's a drop in before the dance.

It’s performance team season! 🤩
Our audition performance teams have been working hard these last few months and are ready to hit the stage around town before heading to at the end of the month to compete! 😍
Your first chance to catch the teams perform is TONIGHT at the ‘s swing night at ! They’ll be performing at the second band break (around 8:30pm)😎
You’ll also be able to catch them at our monthly social dance THIS SATURDAY 2/14 at around 10pm, at on 2/16 & 2/23, and our Second City Swingouts team will perform at this month’s Q***r Swing Chicago social on Sunday 2/22 during the band break. 😍
Come cheer on our amazing dancers as they show off all the hard work they’ve put in this team season!
