Just recorded string bass parts for new tracks by Don Falcone's Spirits Burning featuring Steve Hillage (Gong) & Cyrille Verdeaux (Clearlight). I played the bass formerly owned by Earl May (Charlie Parker, Coleman Hawkins, Billy Taylor) & Richard Davis (Eric Dolphy, Sarah Vaughan, Joe Henderson). It's nice to be a teensy tiny footnote to history.
