UIC research group promoting health equity and food access dictated by communities for communities

The Community-Driven Health Equity and Food Access (CHEFA) research group is a research lab located in the University of Illinois at Chicago's College of Nursing. CHEFA engages in community-driven research projects in collaboration with academics and community-based organizations to promote health equity and food access in Chicago. CHEFA is led by Dr. Saria Lofton from the UIC College of Nursing.
