You don't need to do it all to see big results β¨
Itβs easy to think you need to completely overhaul your life to see results. We live in a world where you're constantly fed all the ways to be your best. The truth is the little things done consistently are what change everything.
A few small shifts that can make a BIG difference:
β’ drinking more water π§
β’ going on daily walks πΆπΌββοΈ
β’ adding more protein to your meals π³
β’ strength training a few times a week ππΌββοΈ
β’ getting outside for fresh air βοΈ
β’ prioritizing sleep π΄
β’ speaking kinder to yourself π€
β’ staying consistent even when motivation fades
β’ choosing good quality products that support you
Transformation doesnβt happen overnight. It happens in the quiet choices you make every single day. Start with one or two things, then add a couple more once you feel comfortable.
Keep showing up for yourself. The small things add up more than you think.

The weather is getting warmer. The sun is staying out longer. The vibes are high!

Time to share our last day in Arizona: the travel day we were not hoping for π
It's been about a week since we've been home, so now it's time to wrap up the final day of our trip.
We checked out of our hotel and went to our final stop on the Arizona Wine Trail. We needed to finish our passport π€£ we couldn't leave one spot left! Afterwards, we grabbed some coffee and did some final shopping before heading to the airport.
Once we got to the airport, we had to take the Skyway from the rental car area to the terminal. Basically a small train. It was cool and our last chance to see these beautiful views!
We did not give ourselves enough time, so we literally got to our gate 10 minutes before boarding. We grabbed some snacks from the small grab-and-go stand at the airport, and then found out our flight was delayed...
And delayed...
And delayed...
We got delayed probably 2.5/3 hours because the technology on the plane wasn't working. We got a second round of coffee to get us through this delay. They finally got us a plane that was coming in from California, so we were able to head home!
We landed in Chicago at 11:45 with the time change and we were ready to get home to our own bed π΄ I'm pretty sure we were the last flight in and it was weird seeing the airport so empty!
Big shout-out to my sister for hanging in there and picking us up!
Overall, AZ was our favorite spot to visit and we will definitely be back! β€οΈ
Oh, and my luggage has suffered some damage over the last few flights, so I'm going to need to get a new suitcase here soon π

Still reminiscing on Arizona π΅
Day 5 of our trip was our last full day in AZ. We didn't really have too much planned for today. Jake is (was) a big Arizona Coyotes fan, so we drove to the stadium so he could visit. On our way, we found a really good cafe! Great coffee, food & pastries! I want to go back π
I got to hang by the pool a little bit as well. Let me know if you've read First-Time Caller! I thought it was pretty good!
We then made our way back to downtown Scottsdale and continued on the Wine Trail. We hit 4 stops that day! We had one left but we were both great π that we decided to stop and get some food.
We found a restaurant near one of the wine tasting spots and they had karaoke! Everyone did a great job! The food was delicious too!
We ended our night with ice cream (what's new?) and headed back to the hotel for a good night's sleep.

Sitting at home wishing I was back in Arizona π₯²
I wanted to share the rest of our trip, so here is Day 4! We started our day at a new coffee shop and it was delicious π
I spent most of the day at the pool which was so nice! The sun may not like me, but I wanted to work on my "tan" (that will fade the moment I get home). I ordered a Caesar salad and a Diet Coke to enjoy poolside. It hit the spot π€
We then met up with my aunt who lives in Scottsdale. Another one of my aunt and uncle were also in Arizona while we were there, so we all got together for dinner. It was so nice seeing everyone π₯°
We went to the Desert Botanical Gardens after dinner. It was really neat seeing plants in a different climate. It was also fun being there at night!
We ended the night with some ice cream, but what's new there π thoroughly enjoyed our vacation!

Typing out our Day 3 adventure as I sit in the airport waiting for our delayed flight π but what a fun day it was!
Jake is a huge Eagles fan (the band, not the sports team), so we drove about 3 hours up to Winslow, AZ so he could 'stand on the corner'. If you know the lyrics to one of their songs, you know what this means π he was very excited!
We then drove to Sedona, which was on our way back to Scottsdale anyways. The GPS took us through some cliffs so that was an experience π
We explored Sedona and found the Snoopy Rock! We tried a hike to be able to see it but we got part way through and decided to head back. We're not huge hikers, so we didn't want to risk anything. We were able to see it though at some different spots in Sedona, so that was cool!
We made our trek back to the hotel and caught the sunset on the ride. The views are truly amazing here! God created some beautiful things π
We ended the night with a swim at the pool!
