I read this book for an Ayahuasca retreat I will be attending in February '23. What I took away the most was the word resistance. I liked how he used that instead of fear. Written almost like a thought of the day book, which I am also a fan of short and direct to the point summaries. While I was reading it, I started to change my language in my mind when finding obstacles in my daily routine. I have always asked myself why don't you want to do this, or what are we afraid of? What are we feeling. I have now changed it to what are you resisting. A quote that I took away as well is "the counterfeit innovator is self-confident. The real one is scared to death." For me, it spoke to many of the endeavors that I am on and small business's that I have begun. You have lofty goals and the imposter syndrome tends to try and hold my hand all day. I often ask myself why are you not more confident about this? Then I answer myself, I am scared sh*tless and I know it will work out.. So I move forward with the plan. What has stuck out to you about this book?
