On the heels of announcing our new Athens programs, we’re excited to keep the momentum going with another new study abroad location: Dubai! 🎉

We're partnering with The American University in Dubai , a globally known institution with more than 100 nationalities across the student body.

The excitement extends far beyond the classroom though, with optional field trips to places like IMG Worlds of Adventure theme park and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

From glittering skylines to desert sunsets, Dubai is where innovation, culture, and adventure unite. It’s the most visited city in the United Arab Emirates, home to iconic architecture like the Burj Khalifa skyscraper, and packed with energy around every corner.

In partnership with the American College of Greece (ACG), IES Abroad students have access to 100+ English-taught courses across a variety of disciplines. With Athens as your classroom, the possibilities for learning are limitless.

Each year our Study Abroad Film Festival (the first in the field!) asks students to show us what study abroad meant to them, through their unique POV! 🔍

Over the past decade, 600+ student films have put us on the edge of our seats and demonstrated the transformative power of study abroad and the creative abilities of IES Abroad students. And we're excited to share that voting is now open for our 11th Annual Study Abroad Film Festival! 🏆 🎬 🌍

This year's Finalists are inspiring, emotional, and creative short films that explore themes of study abroad & travel in their own unique ways:

Films were reviewed and narrowed down by our prominent jury of directors, editors, producers and screenwriters, all of whom are IES Abroad alumni or film studies faculty from our international Centers!
