It is amazing to see the list every year of Guggenheim fellows. I had the honor to receive this amazing fellowship in 2016 and have since directed three short films. My career has expanded beyond my imagination, and there is still room to grow as always. When you have a moment, check out the latest list, and if you know someone on it, give them lots of love—it's a real achievement. .
Announcements - John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation... CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2021 FELLOWS. To learn more about each individual, you can find the Fellows’ full biographies below.

All, if your going to Paris, for Paris photo check out BLACK CHICAGO. I'll be part of this group exhibition at Les Douches Gallery. The seven photographers presented in this exhibition, Wayne Miller, Ray K. Metzker, Yasuhiro Ishimoto, Marvin E. Newman, Vivian Maier, Tom Arndt and Carlos Javier Ortiz.
Cover a period of photography that goes from 1940 to the present day. They have neither the same course nor the same look. Each gives us a different picture of this African-American community coming to Chicago from the South, hoping for more freedom and more dignified work. These photos are a staggering and highly artistic testimony of Chicago Black life for more than half a century.
