Growing Learners is giving back to the community by offering free outdoor learning activities for students in K-3. The charm is that our middle school students will become junior philanthropists and start a Growing Learners nonprofit organization with the support of our founder, Ms. Maria!

We will provide live outdoor weekly activities run by middle schoolers. The activities will help your kids get outside, breath some air, and practice their motor skills and aim. We need your help donating items to our students.

From the Eric Carle Team: It is with heavy hearts that we share that Eric Carle, author and illustrator of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and many other beloved classics, passed away on Sunday, May 23rd at the age of 91.

When asked why he thinks The Very Hungry Caterpillar has remained popular for so long, Carle said, “I think it is a book of hope. Children need hope. You, little insignificant caterpillar can grow up into a beautiful butterfly and fly into the world with your talent.”

Thank you, Eric Carle for sharing your great talent with so many generations of young readers.

We are pleased to announce that the registration for our summer programming is officially open! All courses are thoughtfully planned with student interest in mind and reinforce interdisciplinary skills such as reading, writing, and math. Students will come out of our classes as critical thinkers, problem solvers, and most importantly loving to learn!

We are offering another free virtual field trip over Spring Break. Growing Learners is partnering with the Ohio Bird Sanctuary on Wednesday, March 24th at 2 pm (central). The field trip is engaging and interactive!

Let's get inspired to go out into nature! Growing Learners is partnering with the Lake County Forest Preserves and hosting a Virtual Maple Syrup field trip. Students can visit Ryerson Woods after the event to do the self guided tour and identify the trees that produce sap for the season. This event is free and for all ages, courtesy of Growing Learners.
