This is for the entire community - youth and families. Donations and sponsorships will cover the cost for every guest. Claiming it. Our community deserves to have a safe and brave space to discuss matters of the heart and mind that fosters sustainable healing.

The goal is to offer workshops that are divided by a youth track and a family track, resource fair, and vendors to shop with who all align with our mission and vision as well as promote healing.

Saturday, October 26, 2024 will be the first of its kind for Purple Path by Dr. Shaniqua Jones because the Purple Path Bi-Annual Healing Retreat is for all, not just women, not just those close to me.....but for ALL. I need VOLUNTEERS to assist with setup, flow of day, welcome/greet, assist with facilitation, etc. I need sponsors and supporters. We have 5 sponsorship packages. I am making it my business to schedule one-on-one meetings with those who may be able to offer support in one of many areas.

WOMEN BUILD ILLINOIS IS COMING BACK!

Women Build Illinois (WBI) is a pre-apprenticeship training program that prepares women to begin and succeed in apprenticeship training programs within Union construction. WBI is a 10-week pre-apprenticeship program that meets four days a week, Monday-Thursday, from 8am-3pm, with a stipend of $10/hr. In WBI, you will be learning construction math, career readiness, hands-on training provided by tradeswomen, and field trips to different Apprenticeship Training Centers.
