Winter quarter with DUXA was one for the books ❄️

This quarter, we brought together students and industry professionals through a series of workshops and conversations focused on growth in UX and beyond.

From a Figma workshop led by Aarchi Koshiya, to insights on animation project management from Louise Nillas, presentation skills and storytelling with Sam Gonzalez, and a deep dive into UX careers & AI with Juan Andres Jara Bayona—each session created space to learn, connect, and build confidence.

Seeing students show up, engage, and support one another is always the most rewarding part.

Huge thank you to our incredible speakers for sharing their time and expertise. And thank you to everyone who attended and made these events so impactful.

We’re excited to invite you to the final event of DUXA’s Speaker Series — and you won’t want to miss it!

Join us for a hybrid session with Juan Andres Jara Bayona, a Sr. UX Lead at AbbVie, who will be presenting on the current UX industry, career pathways, and how AI and emerging technologies are shaping the UX job market. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world insights, ask questions, and better understand what it takes to build a career in UX today.

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Figma Workshop happening on Tuesday, February 10, from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM.

This will be a hybrid session, so you can join us either:
