We’re hiring Assistant Teachers (Mentors) at Le Village! This is an entry-level role—and a great fit for someone who loves working with young children, even if you don’t have formal childcare experience yet.
If you’ve been curious about working with infants and toddlers, or are looking to step into this field in a supportive, team-based environment, this is a strong place to start.
The role focuses on supporting our Lead Teachers and helping maintain the flow of the classroom—assisting with play, transitions, and creating a calm, engaging environment for children ages 3 months to 2 years.
We’re looking for someone who:
--genuinely enjoys being around young children
--is patient, flexible, and willing to learn
--shows up consistently and supports the team
--is comfortable in a hands-on, active role
This is not a nanny position—it’s a classroom-based role within a structured environment, working alongside a team and within a shared rhythm of the day. At Le Village, parents are onsite and community is central, which creates a very different dynamic than traditional childcare settings.
If you’re looking for a grounded, meaningful entry point into this kind of work—we’d love to connect.

Got to kidnap these lovely ladies for a much-needed night out!! This year has been different for me — our first big year with 6 (SIX!) locations up and running, growing, and building their own thriving communities. Watching each space develop its own heartbeat while still carrying the soul of Le Village has been something I don’t take lightly. Being in a leadership position alongside these women is the greatest honor of my life outside of being Vivie’s mom. I’m lucky to wake up every day and work with women who are smart, powerful, courageous, and deeply committed to building real community. They make me love this work and find gratitude in it every single day.
Shout out to — the incredible restaurant around the corner from — for hosting us and letting us stay later than we probably should have 😮💨 Shout out to BH who caught a virus from her kids and couldn’t make it! So proud of what we’re building together!!

Sensible Play Sunday ❄️ It’s frigid in the Midwest, so we brought the outside inside — literally. A small tub of snow. That’s it.
For babies: hands in, cold on the skin, slow curiosity. For toddlers and older kids: spoons, cups, droppers, a little colored water — or turn it into an ice cream shop with scoops and bowls.
No setup. No Pinterest pressure.
Not everything has to be cute.
Not everything has to be aesthetic.
Sensible Play Sunday is about function over flair — meeting kids where they are, using what you have, and letting real sensory work do its thing. We love cuteness too—but sometimes Mama needs a guilt free coffee breath! At Le Village, we believe in balance — meaningful work, real support! If that’s what you are looking for—we’re built for you! 👇✨

The holidays are magical — and they also pull kids (and parents) completely out of rhythm. Late nights, skipped routines, all the fun… and then January hits and parents’ worlds feel upside down.
January doesn’t need a reinvention.
It needs a rhythm that actually works.
For families, that means predictable days, supportive care, and space to ease back into work and life without the pressure of “new year, new you.”
We’re here for routines that stick, communities that show up, and weeks that feel manageable — not aspirational.
Find that rhythm at a Le Village near you!
