It was great to be in attendance today for the Cclba (Cook County Land Bank Authority) Seminar at University of Illinois Chicago! Learning what it takes to build in our communities on the South and West side of Chicago and surrounding areas is pure gold! I am so grateful for the presenters and the speakers who poured out into the audience at this session!

We’re dealing with a lot right now! The price of everything is going up – gas, food, housewares, clothing, travel, etc. Housing and taxes too. The only thing that’s not going up is income/job earnings and business earnings. We hear about millions being spent on a ballroom, billions being spent on a war, and trillions planned to be spent on a “golden dome” (Google it). What about the people? No leader should ever say that they “do not care about the cost of living for the citizens”! Inflation is at an all-time high. The consumer price index is up.
How are you getting by in this economy, and what changes are you making? Having hope is fine, but planning is essential. $$$$$$$$

It is not an issue for me to spend time and money to invest in myself, whether it’s attending conferences, taking classes, or attending networking events. I know that I will always get a return on my investments. I am certainly looking forward to attending an AI course tomorrow. I do all of this so that I may pour into other people and transform lives. transformation

I Kicked this year off right by attending The Wealth Experience online this weekend!!! Thank you Dr Lynn Richardson and MC Lyte for your vision!! The financial knowledge gained this weekend was invaluable!! Thank you to Dr. Jazz, you Brought It! Thank you Takisha Artis for sharing your knowledge and to all the other speakers. It was great to end the event on Sunday with Dr. Deadra Woods Stokes who shared her extensive knowledge on Estate planning!! 👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

It was so wonderful to collaborate with the Chicago Community Builders Collective and to participate in the ‘Construction Resource Fair’ inspired by the Bally’s Chicago Casino project. I am grateful that my company, FinGive LLC was invited to be included in this amazing event. We absolutely enjoyed meeting the other vendors in the room and making great connections networking! We were also happy to assist the guest participants who visited with our booth!

It was a great pleasure to attend the DPS - 2025 Procurement Symposium at the City Colleges of Chicago-Malcolm X College! The business networking was amazing and the panel discussions were exceptional. I also benifited from attending the workshops and visiting with the vendors. Thank you Chicago DPS!
