A common misconception is that a reiki practitioner gives the client reiki. The fact is that Reiki can’t be given to someone. Reiki is energy, and every person and thing is energy, so therefore we all already have Reiki, no one needs to give it to you.

Also, Reiki is not a religion or woo-woo supernatural practice. It’s an Eastern alternative medicine/healing practice originating in Japan, and brought to the West in 1938 from Hawayo Takata who settled in Hawaii. Reiki doesn’t treat disease, it helps restore balance.

Learning a new way is better than not at all. ❤️

I’ve always had an interest in helping others, alternative medicine and healing, and creating more positive energy. Interests that have been dimmed for years and I’m slowly getting back into! Excited for all I have to learn and share with others!

Its 2023! Good times don’t last forever unfortunately. But so don’t the bad. I hope your good times remain with you for a long time and if you are going through a hard time know it won’t be the same way forever. Nothing is infinite, give yourself a little pause to appreciate, or reflect on the present. 💖
