Hey, Bison Fans, these cool cats from LCCC have spent two days at South helping students register for concurrent enrollment classes! That means our students have a qualified teacher at South High and are earning both high school and college credit! We are so grateful for our partnership with LCCC!
In case you’re wondering, students can take the following classes for concurrent enrollment: English 1010 and 2205, Math Decision Making, College Algebra and Trig, AP Calculus, AP US History, AP Government, Welding 3, Ag Leadership, Body Systems, Emergency Medical Services, Medical Terminology, Certified Nurses Assistant, Money 101, and Cybersecurity. If you or your Bison would like to know more, talk with a counselor at South.

Hey, Bison Fans,
Here’s a message from Mrs. Cathcart and our Student Council:

We’re inviting our South-side community to join the South High School Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 2 at 2:10 PM!

If your family owns or works with a local business, organization, club, youth team, or other community group connected to South, we’d love to have you participate and help us celebrate our Bison community.

👑 We also need vehicles for our Homecoming Royalty! If you have a convertible, Jeep, truck, classic car, or another vehicle that could carry members of our royalty court in the parade, we’d love to hear from you!

Drivers must be 21 or older. Additional parade details, expectations, and participation information can be found at the link below.

September 11 taught us about unimaginable loss, but it also revealed the depth of our courage, compassion, and resilience.

Today, we pause in silence to honor the innocent lives taken too soon. We hold deep reverence for the first responders who answered the call without hesitation and the brave men and women in uniform who have answered it every day since. Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your unwavering dedication to keeping us safe.

United we stand.

Bison Pride! Horns up for Zunker🤘

Khloee Zunker, a senior at South High School, was selected as Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of Sept. 7.

Zunker is the student body president, National Honor Society public relations officer and cheer captain. She has also taken several AP courses during her time at South.
