136 years ago today Cheyenne hosted Wyoming’s statehood celebration! The festivities celebrated Wyoming's suffrage history and entrance into the Union as the first state to recognize woman suffrage. WyoFile has partnered with WyoHistory.org to publish Wyoming’s suffrage story from 1869 to 1890. Check it out here:

So lovely to speak at the Laramie Plains Museum during their last Tuesday Tea event of the season. The volunteers did an amazing job putting together an elegant event, with a lovely spread of finger foods and desserts. The crowd was generous and laughed readily at my presentation on Wyoming inventors! Such a fun evening! Thank you Konnie and Lucas for organizing such a great event!
