Chewelah School District is accepting applications for:

High school science teacher
Wage range: $47,415 - $100,524/yr

Part-time bus drivers and paraeducators
Bus driver wage range: $19.84-$30.25/hr
Paraeducator wage range: $15.74 - 27.42/hr

Benefits ALL EMPLOYEES: Employees anticipated to work at least 630 hours per school year (September 1 – August 31) and their families are eligible for medical, dental, vision, basic life, and long-term disability insurance through the School Employees Benefit Board (SEBB). Employees participate in a Washington State retirement plan and may choose to enroll in the District’s 403b and deferred compensation plans. Other paid leaves may include bereavement, military, and jury duty or subpoena. Benefits may be prorated depending upon employment start date.

Benefits TEACHERS: Certificated employees receive 12 paid sick days and 3 personal days.

Benefits BUS DRIVERS AND PARAEDUCATORS: Employees receive ten (10) paid sick days based on their hours worked per day. Up to 50% of the sick days are designated for emergency, personal and certain bereavement.
