BC BIGS: Franklin Field

Congratulations to our amazing graduating seniors! We are so proud of you and will miss you next year!

No event this week, but we had a great paint day last Saturday and all of the paintings were off the chARTs! 🎨 Can't wait to see everyone again next week!

Welcome back to campus Bigs and Littles! Last week we had the annual crowd favorite--ice skating! Thank you to the BC Women's Club Ice Hockey Team for helping us skate! There is truly ~snow~ place like the ice skating rink and we had such a chill time ❄️ We can’t wait to see everyone again this week for a fun paint day! Get ready to make some creative memories!

It has been a busy couple of weeks for us! Our new matches joined us in the middle of October for a scavenger hunt! We are so excited to see new Bigs and Littles. Two weeks ago we had one of our favorite events: Halloween! Some activities included a Toilet Paper Mummy Contest, pumpkin painting, spooky hallway, and much more! It was a great way to celebrate fall and have lots of fun! We're looking forward to our event this weekend, where we will be painting some more!

We’ve had a busy past two weeks! Two weeks ago, we did the annual crowd favorite, ice skating! It was a great event and everyone had a great time. Both the bigs and littles got to show off their skills on skates, it was very “Cool!” This past Friday, we had the “sleepover” event, complete with videogames, makeovers, and a movie! This week the bigs are off for spring break, but can’t wait until we get back for the next event!

The semester has been flying by! Our last two events have been big successes! For Halloween we had a very spooooky haunted house walk through for the brave matches. Then last event we had the matches build time capsules to help reflect on and remember this important time. Both were great. Our next event is tomorrow and should be a great time!

Our last event was a huge success! It was the new matches first event and we practically doubled the size of the program! The new matches got to introduce themselves to the group. Then we took the energy over to play some dodgeball and board games! It was a great day, can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!

After what feels like a long time away, we are very excited to have everyone back for tomorrow's event! Last time we had a fantastic time playing pirates in a search for hidden treasure in a great event! Afterward matches got a snack, got a chance to hang out, or play a competitive game of knockout. It was a great day and we can’t wait to see the matches back at it tomorrow!

Welcome back! After a long summer, it was so great to see all of the bigs and littles back on campus together again. Our opening event for the year was an awesome field day, otherwise known as OlymBIGS. It involved tug of war, wheelbarrow races, and even an EGGtrodinary egg toss. There was also lots of basketball played and slime made. Overall it was a great first day for the program. Reminder that next event is tomorrow, and we are so excited for the quick reunion and another incredible day at BIGS.
