Welcome all NWI Region Runner's NWI Region Runner’s is a running group for all types of runners, any pace and any mileage.
We are looking to host several fun runs throughout Northwest Indiana in 2012. We have put together 3 teams of 6 runners for the Kal-Haven 33.5 mile trail race starting in Kalamazoo Michigan and ending in South Haven Michigan on March 24th. NWI Region Runner’s is looking to put together several running groups in Northwest Indiana. There is currently a group that runs out of Portage beginning at Por
tage High School West until March 1st then the locations will rotate to mix up the course. They run from 6pm to 7pm on Thursday’s for 3-5 miles, and they can accommodate most running paces. We are also looking at starting several other running groups in Crown Point, Chesterton, and Kouts. Contact Rick Gosser at [email protected] for the Crown Point running group on Monday nights starting February 6, 2012, Tom Little at [email protected] for the Chesterton running group and the group will run on Tuesday’s beginning February 7, 2012, and Becky Kreiger at [email protected] for the Kouts running group starting Monday night on February 6, 2012. All groups will be in the evening beginning around 6pm and at a pre-determined location and route for 3 to 5 miles depending on pace and ability. The Crown Point, Chesterton, and Kouts groups will begin early February. We do from time to time conduct group training for specific races throughout NWI.
