A great story from Carver College and Career Academy featuring ESAC's own Jason Woodby!
Carver Academy is taking its first steps in starting a composting program. Students in Mr Woodby’s Ecology class built and set up this composter and will use it throughout the year to investigate and understand concepts like matter and nutrient flow within ecosystems, the roles and niches of microorganisms, and energy flow. The composter will also provide high-quality soil amendments for the school garden and reduce the amount of food waste sent to the landfill.
