I used to drop everything whenever something went wrong.
Nights, weekends, and personal plans didn’t matter. If there was a problem, I felt responsible for fixing it immediately. I had become the go-to person for everyone.
But I’ve learned that not everything is an emergency—and someone else’s urgency doesn’t automatically have to become mine.
My peace matters.
My health matters.
My time matters.
I spent years proving I could drop everything.
Now I’m learning to prove that I don’t have to.
What have you let go of to restore balance and protect your peace?
