The Chester Y Group Exercise Team is growing, and we're excited to welcome THREE amazing new instructors to our fitness family!

👏 Latisha White👏 Keeasha Shaw 👏 Blakely Koob

Beginning in September, Blakely Koob and Keeasha Shaw will be leading our ✨NEW✨ Sundays Cycle class at 1:30 PM 🚴‍♀️🔥🚴‍♂️ and are ready to bring the motivation, music, and energy to every ride! Latisha White will be leading Thursdays 8:15 AM Cycle Strength class with great beats🎵 for energizing and dynamic challenges for all 🚲🔥.

Our Group Exercise team recently spent time sharpening their skills through a Les Mills BODYPUMP™ Master Class and professional development sessions focused on Mind-Muscle Connection and Coaching Vertical Drive.

Swim Instructor Spot Light!!! Meet Coach VIP!!!
"Hello! My name is Coach Vip, or Mr. V.I.P. is what kids call me, and I am the Swim Lesson Supervisor for Saturday morning lessons at the Chester Family YMCA. I have been an instructor for the past 4.5 years and absolutely love teaching people of all ages how to swim. My favorite classes to teach are the intermediate and adult classes because they push themselves to learn more each time. I will also be helping out with our swim team this upcoming fall. Overall, the Y has been such a great place to work at and to build a community with, and I hope to see y'all there!"

We are so excited to see all of our Chester Gators return for another season of fast swimming and good times! Fall Swim starts on Monday, September 14th. We invite all swimmers ages 4-18 to join our team. All they need to be able to do is swim a 25 of Freestyle and a 25 of Backstroke.
