It was my first time meeting them and wanted to see where they were.

They said a couple of times.

What is your routine immediately after a Sunday morning service?

Not a trick question. Do you say goodbye to friends. Run to the car and to a restaurant?

Last Sunday, I was reminded to keep my eyes open. People just hear the gospel and some will be convicted. There was one man who was just in their seat with their head bowed praying. They just kept praying. I almost missed him but one of our peeps pointed him out.

Don’t run out of service.

Today someone said I’m very spiritual but I’m having a hard time coming to grips with Jesus being the only way.

What would you say?

We had the opportunity to walk through a village in Haiti and have gospel conversations.

One guy said he wanted to give his life to Christ but had questions. He didn’t want to do it just to say words. (I love that. Words are empty if they are not from the heart).

He said can I still come to Christ and have hate in my heart towards my…. Fill in a person.

What would you say to him?

I have a strong desire to help people learn how to minister in the communities that God has placed them and/or call them to minister.

Each town/city/country has their own challenges but the goal is the same: for people to know Jesus as Lord of their lives.

I’m going to restart this page and answer questions that you send or that have been asked of me.

Let’s grow together and turn our communities upside down with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

For this to work we are going to need discussion on post so we can challenge our own minds and grow together.

I’ll make another post in a bit with a question I was posed in Haiti.

Met someone out on our food distribution today who didn’t know about the Beacon theater because they were new in town.

We invited him and his friend to church. I said you will really love our pastor.

He said whose your pastor? I said me.

He said no your not. I said yep. He said you mean to tell me when I come Sunday you are going to be the one on stage?

I said yep.

We had a great gospel conversation afterwards.

Build a bridge and run to the Cross.

Sample of gospel conversations this week. There’s no such thing as a bad conversation if you learn from it.

Person 1: I believe the red words in the Bible but I believe we can all become gods.
Person 2: why where you in Miami in July? Me. Mission trip. Them: good for you. Let’s drink.
Person 3: Me. Why are you here. Then. My dad is in hospice. It opened the door for me to talk about Jesus.
Person 4: I’m a Christian but I learn more from Buddha.

Do missional work not missions work.

What’s the difference?

Missions is accomplishing a defined purpose.
Missional as defined by Ed stetzer is:

Missional: Missional is believer-focused. It describes believers and churches who live out the mission through the totality of embracing, embodying, and enacting God’s mission in the world. Christians are being missional when, as instruments of His kingdom, they join Jesus’s work of serving the hurting and saving the lost.

Think about it like this. Can an unbeliever do what you or your church is doing?

If the answer is yes you must realign what you are doing to be missional.
