Band camp 2026 ended on an awesome note last night!

We ended our two weeks of camp with our first performance of “Headless” and the students did amazing! They pushed through a hot day to finish setting drill and put everything together. Percussion joined us and it led to a thrilling performance! We had a fun day ending off spirit week with “anything but a water bottle day” and our flutes and clarinets won the P.R.I.D.E. award!

We wanted to say thank you to everyone that supported us during camp! To our parents, thank you for being our number one fans! You drive us to and from every rehearsal, you cheer for us on the hardest days, and always have our backs. To our alumni, thank you for all your donations of water and Gatorade this week, you keep us hydrated! To our community members, Chester First Church of the Nazarene - Chester, SC, Chicken Coop, and Ms. Beth, thank you for providing meals during camp, we came hungry but left full and happy!

We can’t wait to see what else this season has to offer, this is just the beginning!

Band Camp Day 5!

Your Cyclone Regiment had an AMAZING day of learning!

We began setting our drill for our 2026 production, Headless! The students moved quick and accomplished all of our goals for today.

Pink Out day was a huge success and added an extra pop of color to today’s rehearsals.

Our P.R.I.D.E. Award went to the High Brass today. They exemplified discipline today by being prepared and focused during the hottest parts of the day and enthusiasm, as they were always the first section ready today!
Congrats, High Brass!

Two more days left to push and grow!

Day 4 of camp!
Today was full of firsts!
We learned lots of new marching skills and completed our first real drill move, the box! The day ended with our first full run through of the first movement of our show. What an awesome day of getting better and stronger.

Our P.R.I.D.E. Award today went to the saxophones! They showed major improvements in both skills and attitude today. Congrats saxophones!

Band camp is off to a great start!

Last week, we pushed hard despite the rainy weather to learn the fundamentals and get stronger.
This week, we started off with a fun spirit day “White Lies”
Thank you to Chester First Church of the Nazarene for sponsoring our lunch today!
Our P.R.I.D.E. Award for today went to the Low Brass Section!
Tomorrow we get better. Tomorrow we get stronger!

Wanna know what the leadership team has been up to this week? Lots of painting and…chairs sculptures?

They ended their leadership training camp by hosting Storm Surge tonight for new members! We had a great time meeting all our new members and seeing their awesome slip and slide moves!

Tomorrow, we welcome all members for Day 1 of band camp! Don’t forget your white shirt and water jug!

Today, 5 of our graduating seniors took their next steps and are heading to college! We are so proud of each of these students for their hard work in the classroom and practice room the last 4 years! Their dedication and leadership will be missed, but we are excited to see how they make us proud. CC4L!!
