They should leave with something they actually created.

During the Neuroscience + Biomedical Research Program, students work toward three major outcomes:

A 4,000+ word publication-ready scientific manuscript, a formal thesis defense before a faculty panel, and a personalized faculty recommendation from a professor who has seen their research process firsthand.

This is hands-on research, not simply learning about research.

Our Neuroscience + Biomedical Research Program gives high school students the opportunity to conduct original research with faculty mentorship while developing a publication-ready scientific paper, defending their work, and building a meaningful relationship with a university professor.

No previous research experience is required.
