Artsplace has one last Summer Art Camp experience this session, Mon-Fri, August 24-28! Grades 3-6 students will bring their very own fantasy beings to life. There's just a few days left until Rick Ciaburri's three-day kids Cyanotype program, "Photography without a Camera" which begins August 18th! Join this hands-on class that combines 19th century photographic process with 21st century tech. Students will coat papers with light sensitive chemistry and expose to sunlight. We are proud to show off the student work made in Sagan Anderson's "Drawing a Satin Dress" workshop which took place on July 26th! Students practiced techniques in sketching and shading to build their understanding of depth, lighting, and reflective nature of a satin textured dress...we think everyone did an incredible job! Sagan's next workshop will be "Drawing Evening Curtains" on August 16, from 9:30am-12:00pm, where students will explore drawing sheer curtains and drapery. Students will take a morning walk on the adjacent linear trail to observe and connect with nature.
