USA Ninja Challenge - Greenbrier, VA

Hi Parents!

We’re excited to introduce our brand-new Sidekick Ninja class at our Greenbrier gym, specially designed for kids ages 2–4 and their adult sidekick! 🥷

Tuesdays 3:30-4:15 pm

This fun, active class gives your little ninja the chance to learn, move, explore, and build confidence—all while having their favorite grown-up right by their side.

Together, you’ll:

🥷 Learn beginner ninja skills and movements
💪 Build strength, balance, and coordination
⭐ Practice listening, following directions, and trying new things
❤️ Have fun and create special memories together
Whether your child is a first-time ninja or already loves to climb, jump, and tumble, Sidekick Ninja is the perfect introduction to the ninja world!

We’re excited to let you know that this year, we will have two competition team practice locations: (one team- two locations- all Coastal Crushers!)

• Greenbrier: Tuesday evenings
• Portsmouth Boulevard: Wednesday evenings

Competition Team Tryout Dates (you only attend one at the location you would like to continue with!)
• Greenbrier: Tuesday, September 1 at 6:00 PM
• Portsmouth Boulevard: Wednesday, September 2 at 6:30 PM

To help ninjas prepare, we’ll be offering Competition Prep Open Gyms throughout August.
Greenbrier • Tuesdays, 6:00–7:00 PM
Portsmouth Boulevard • Wednesdays, 6:30–7:30 PM
Registration will be required for each prep session, and the cost is $20 per session. You can register now for these practice sessions in your iclass pro account under open gyms! (Space is limited)

Competition Team Tryout Expectations To be considered for the competition team, athletes should be able to demonstrate all/most of the following skills:
• the non-knotted rope
• 4-foot lache/reach
• Dead hang – 1 minute
• Complete the ledges down and back
• Barrel walk
• Slackline
• Ring mountain (using 2 rings)
• Ladder kip

Other Considerations
In addition to obstacle skills, our coaches will also evaluate:
• Grit
• Speed
• Coachability

**Those who make the competition team will commit to two classes per week; the competition team practice and one other of their choice.
There is an additional $50 team fee monthly.
