Join us for Islamic Law (Fiqh) with Dr. Mariam Sheibani as part of the Islamic Studies Preliminaries Certificate.
This session offers an introduction to Islamic law (Fiqh), exploring its history from the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through the development of the legal schools (Madhhabs) to the modern era. Participants will gain familiarity with key terms, major areas of fiqh, foundational texts, and the primary and secondary sources of Islamic law.
