This piece was made for one of my dear friend's all the way up in Ohio! Such a beautiful home with cool architecture 😍

My family and friends are my main recipients of my woodburning projects. I love to woodburn something unique just for them. (After 6 years or so, I hope they're not getting tired of getting woodburnings from me🙃 ha) This piece was made specifically for my Dad, for his birthday last month. He is a HUGE Dave Matthews Band fan and loves jamming to their music!!!🎶 Aside from the lyrics, I placed the setting of this piece at his favorite place (and mine), Parksville Lake. 🚤Thanks to my awesome parents, I have many memories of taking our boat to that lake almost every Saturday in the summers. And when we weren't boating on the lake, we would take our pop up camper out for some camping all over the US!!🌲🏞️ I will forever be thankful to my Dad for those opportunities and I'm thankful my parents are still cool with me tagging along on their adventures😜

I think alot of us are needing stronger faith with so many uncertainties going on right now. It's not our timing. It's God's. I don't believe that God causes these horrible events to happen (covid-19, loss of jobs, recent tornados in TN), but through these things God works all things together for the good. May our relationships grow stronger, with one another, but most importantly may we slow down to grow closer to the One in control. 🙏

Just a lil somethin I did for a baby shower gift in Sept 🤗

Sharing my most recent project today for 2 reasons:
1. I woodburned this piece for a dear friend who is moving from Chatt to Ohio today. Like most Chattanoogans, she's made some special memories on the great Walnut St bridge, so I wanted her to have a piece of Chattanooga to remember us by. 😔
2. On a happier note, today is the start of MoonRiver Festival!! 🎉 This event is held at Coolidge Park right under the famous bridge! I'm super stoked to see some great performances this weekend, all while admiring the beautiful city I call home. 💙 •Lately I've become especially fond of the architecture of the bridge. Each time I woodburn it, I try to add a little more detail to fully capture it's wonderful design. I'll definitely be doing more of these!

Here is my most recent project I woodburned as a housewarming gift from our family to our new renters 😊 This 1940's home is filled with lots of character, but it also holds many fond memories from visits with my Grandaddy & Grammy 🌼 After putting it up for rent, we've been blessed with the most precious couple for tenants!! God sure did answer our prayers! 💙

Hey y'all! Happy Sunday!!! 🌿 I was excited to wear this today, so I just wanted to share this new little piece with you guys. 💚 Here lately I've been preserving specially pressed flowers from my grandparents' funeral floral arrangements, leaves from my hiking adventures, and lots of other little things like this gnarly mossy thing, by using epoxy resin. I've enjoyed seeing how each item sets differently with the resin. I still have lots to learn but so far it's been a fun side project from my usual wood working 😊

Just wanted to share some of my projects I've done over time for sweet Baby Shower gifts!! 👶💙💗 I strive to make them as personalized to each person according to their nursery theme or to the parents' own interests. These are all gifts I've given personally to my friends, but I would love to make one for any of you to give as gifts for sweet little babies🤗

Soooo...I've had this one in the works for quite some time..as in all honesty it's been "on the back burner" (pun intended...) because I don't make enough stuff just for me. 😉 Nevertheless, I'll be headed out to explore another National Park in 2 weeks and I am SO EXCITED!!!! 🤗 Any guesses as to which National Park I get to "burn" off my list???? ☑️ 🗻🏔️
✒️Woodburning this one was a toughy, as I unknowingly chose very challenging wood and I then very carefully woodburned all 720 tiny letters to make up 58 National Parks. Guess it gave me plenty of time to reminisce about my experiences at the 13 I've been to......😏
✒️I feel very fortunate to have seen this many already, as for most of them, I've gone there without intentionally seeking to mark it off a list...Thanks parents for raising me up right being outdoors and seeking adventure!!! You rock!!👊 @ Chattanooga, Tennessee

Definitely tried channeling in my spirit animal for this piece 😏 It was fun branching out to make this baby shower gift last weekend. I love how cute and loveable sloths are!!!

Enjoyed teaming up with my awesome brother Grayson for this beautiful project.💙 Parksville Lake holds a special place in my heart, all thanks to our dad. We made this for our Dad for Christmas. He grew up going to the lake and bought a boat early on in his adult life to continue making memories of skiing, kneeboarding, flying off tubes, paddleboarding, and soaking up sun while listening to football games on the radio. This lake is truly one of my favorite places in the world and it's less than 20 minutes from home!

A lot of time, love, blood, and sweat was poured into this piece as Grayson was a master at carving the lake out before we carefully poured in resin. Anyone else have fond memories of going to Parksville??? 😊
