Summer Snail Mail has officially begun!

We're so excited to see our Little Sprouts, Wonder Makers, and Pathfinders start exchanging letters this summer!

All registered families should have received an email with program details, mailing instructions, and pen pal information (for applicable age groups).

If you registered but did not receive an email, please send us a message here on Facebook or email us at [email protected] so we can get the information to you.

We know a few email addresses may have been entered incorrectly during registration, so don't hesitate to reach out if you're unsure whether you're all set.

Now it's time to grab some paper, crayons, stickers, and imagination—your first letters are due in the mail by June 6th!

We can't wait to see all the creativity, connections, and mailbox excitement this summer brings!

New Drop!

Magnetic Play Lab

This one has already been a HUGE hit in our house while we tested it out

Kids can:
- dig through red + blue sensory rice
+ test what is magnetic (and what isn’t!)
- make predictions like real scientists
+ sort discoveries into magnetic / not magnetic / not sure
- and explore through open-ended sensory play

We packed this kit with a mix of:
- blue and red rice sensory base
- mix of magnetic and non magnetic treasures (foam pieces, animal magnets, etc)
- your very own magnetic wand
- sorting bowls with labels to insert or leave out depending on play
- scoop
- play guide for more ideas and extensions

If your kiddo loves sensory bins, sorting, STEM activities, or just figuring out “what happens if…” — this one is for them 💛

CAMP SNAIL MAIL IS HERE!!

We are SO excited to officially open registration for our summer Camp Snail Mail program!

Kids will spend June + July exchanging real letters, drawings, activities, surprises, and encouragement with a pen pal buddy throughout the summer.

We’re hoping this becomes a little pocket of creativity, connection, excitement checking the mailbox, and a little sprinkled in piece of learning.

Each week may also include little extras along the way like activity prompts, stickers, coupons, and more!

Registration closes May 29th so we can begin organizing pairings and getting everything set up thoughtfully for each child.

Families will receive a follow-up email with additional details by June 1 before the program officially begins.

We can’t wait to see these friendships and creative exchanges grow all summer long.

This will be free this year!! You can always support us bringing as many pieces of learning by following along, renting a kit for your family, or buying a sensory kit for your kiddo to enjoy.

Something new is coming to Pieces of Learning this summer!
Introducing: Summer Snail Mail

A screen-light summer camp experience built around the magic of REAL mail. Kids will be matched with other LOCAL campers to exchange letters, drawings, crafts, stickers, jokes, and little pieces of summer throughout the season.

We’ll have age-based groups ranging from our youngest “Little Sprouts” all the way through teens, with prompts and surprises sprinkled in along the way from Pieces of Learning

To help keep things safe and simple for families, all mail will route through Pieces of Learning before being redistributed to campers each week.

We’re still putting the finishing touches on everything, but wanted to share early because we are SO excited about this one.

Official sign-ups will be opening soon and spots will likely be limited for our first summer!

With the clear spring skies around Chattanooga, it’s a great time to get outside at night with your kids and look up
