Flap Jacks and Fine Arts was a smashing success! Thank you everyone who came out to make this inaugural event special! Our families and kiddos really pulled together to create a delicious meal, fun activities, beautiful art, and a full silent auction! Big thanks to for hosting us at the Evalyn Center, and a massive shout out to for helping us coordinate and making this possible!

Did you know that Ms Tara is facilitating Puppet Camp? Did you also know that she is part of ? How cool are these puppets? Don’t miss out on signing up for puppet camp to learn how to engineer your own puppet, and explore how to use this art form as a storytelling tool!

Over here we are passionate about Citizen Science, so we asked the TVA STEM Ready program for a grant to install 5-6 weather stations around Chattanooga, and they awarded us the money to make it happen! This initiative will launch in the Fall of 2026! We are excited to start collecting data, mobilizing communities to be citizen scientists, and collaborate on some grassroots local climate action plans!

Meet the Artists!!! Holly and Hemlock are a brother and sister artists duo! They create vibrant, whimsical paintings that are full of joy and love! We can’t wait for you guys to see their art in person, and are jealous of the person who gets to add these to their home!

Meet Riley! Riley is a local young artists who is including their stunning nature based paintings at Flap Jacks and Fine Arts! Riley says “Creativity is best, when served with a little crazy.” We are fans of Riley’s version of crazy, because her art is crazy good.

Meet Sausage, a local artist showing their work at Flap Jacks and Fine Art! Sausage is passionate about upcycling clothing, and inspiring others to disrupt fast fashion by giving used garments new life!
