East Lake Expression Engine
ELEE is an El Sistema inspired music project based at New City East Lake in Chattanooga, TN.
East Lake Expression Engine is working through the New City Fellowship tutoring and mentoring program East Lake Every Child Taught (ELECT), partnered with the YMCA of Chattanooga. During the summer, students participate in daily morning music classes such as choir, bucket band, musicianship, and orchestra. We are inspired by the musical ideals of the El Sistema movement, that music is an effective
