From trains to dollhouses to carefully chosen books, University High seniors found creative ways to tell their stories. Their “My Journey So Far” exhibits made the Senior Expo a meaningful celebration of growth and individuality.

Hixson Middle School recently celebrated a milestone with its first D.A.R.E. graduation in partnership with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

A total of 160 students completed the program this year, building skills that support healthy choices, confidence, and positive decision-making. By the end of the school year, more than 1,100 students across the county will have completed D.A.R.E. since the program’s reinstatement in 2022.

Thank you to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, School Resource Deputy and D.A.R.E. Instructor Monica Mills, and the Hixson Middle School staff for their continued commitment to student safety and success.
