The Arts-Based Collaborative is a center under the College of Health, Education, and Professional Studies of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga that facilitates arts-based professional learning programs that support a variety of needs across multiple fields and disciplines.

Happy Earth Day from the Arts-Based Collaborative at UTC! 🌎🪇 The arts and nature go hand-in-hand. We are celebrating the Earth with East Ridge Elementary, where students are sharing about Chattanooga's history, the environment, and conservation through music, dance, theatre, and visual arts.

We are so excited to host Spring into STEAM, a massive day of discovery for Chattanooga families. We’ve teamed up with some incredible partners to bring you a hands-on science playground right here at UTC.

🎨 Creative Space: Paint your own planets and craft musical instruments.

🏎️ Engineering Lab: Build balloon-powered cars and construct giant towers.

✨Space Tours: Come take a ride in our unique shuttle simulator and tour the space station!

🤖 Tech Zone: Program VEX robots and join a dance party in full robot costumes!

⚡ Live Science: Power up electricity with our special generator bikes.

đźš’ Community Heroes: Get an insider tour of a real Chattanooga Fire Department engine!

🌟 SPECIAL GUEST: Come meet Lyla from PBS Kids’ Lyla in the Loop! She’ll be here to help us problem-solve and get creative.

🌸 Spring into STEAM: A Family Adventure! 🌸

Looking for the perfect Saturday plan that’s fun, educational, and—best of all—completely FREE? Join us at the UTC Challenger STEM Learning Center for a day dedicated to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math!

We are teaming up with some incredible community partners to bring you hands-on activities that will spark curiosity in learners of all ages.

Event Highlights:

🚀 Explore the Skies: Connect with the Rocket Mocs and the UTC Clarence T. Jones Observatory.
