This class will explore the concepts of rhythm, pitch, note-reading, and music appreciation in a fun and friendly environment.

Students will enjoy singing a wide range of musical styles and genres and learn to work together as a choir. At the end of each semester, they'll have the opportunity to share what they've learned in concerts!

Over the past couple of weeks, we explored “hidden messages” in a creative and meaningful way with several of our Little Hilger students! 🎨

😊 Students wrote secret messages on paper and used turmeric to reveal what was hidden beneath the surface. Such a fun and memorable experiment!

This activity reminded us of an important truth: while we often see only what’s on the outside, there is always more beneath the surface. In the same way, God doesn’t just see outward appearances; He sees our hearts (1 Samuel 16:7)

A simple piece of paper may seem plain at first glance, but it holds something deeper within — just like each of us!

Three incredible girls in our Middle School Advanced Reading Program read a combined 315 books this year and completed a book report for every single one!

Kaylee — 135 books
Megan — 117 books (this is the second year in a row that she has read over 100 books!)
Sabrina — 63 books

We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and love of reading!

🍕 Huge thank you to Mr T's Pizza and Ice Cream (Ooltewah location) for providing pizza and ice cream for their literature class as we celebrated these outstanding readers!

This lesson was a crowd pleaser!!🥤😁

When we dropped the Mentos in, the soda didn’t stay still. It overflowed! In the same way, when God fills our hearts with His love, joy, and kindness, it shouldn’t stay inside. We should let it overflow to others!
