Overview:
Local 43 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union is seeking a qualified HVAC Instructor to join our training team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing apprentices and journeymen for successful careers in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry.

Responsibilities:
• Teach HVAC-related curriculum including installation, troubleshooting, service, and maintenance.
• Provide hands-on instruction and classroom training aligned with UA training standards.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in curriculum development and regular training updates.
Qualifications:
• Must be a current member in good standing of Local 43.
• Minimum of 5 years of field experience in HVACR preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience is a plus.
• Willingness to attend UA Instructor Training Program if not already certified.
