Yesterday Hamilton County Schools 10 grade students from East Ridge, Tyner, and Brainerd had an incredible experience at the 3rd Annual Go Build Construction Career Expo! 💪🏽👷🏽‍♂️👷🏽‍♀️

From hands-on activities to real-world industry connections, students explored the many pathways available in the . Opportunities like this help turn curiosity into careers.🧱

This week CCC students teamed up with 3rd graders from Hardy Elementary for a day of creativity, collaboration, and fun—learning that when we build together, we grow together! 🏗️✨

Students completed their first layout challenge project today. They learned the process of marking the design on a construction site to guide installation process. Thank you Brandon Escansdon with Maven Group LLC for leading thus project.

Today the seniors of our inaugural class graduated🎓 from the Building Construction Technology program at TCAT Chattanooga. Congratulations!! We wish you much success in your future endeavors.

February is Tennessee Career and Technical Education Month! Mr. Laxton and Mr. Youngberg teach TCAT dual enrollment Building Construction Technology to our high school students at Construction Career Center.

These two teachers work hard each day building the next generation of construction professionals. From safety to building codes, our teachers ensure our students have the knowledge and expertise to succeed in the construction industry and life.

Building Construction Technology, through our partnership with TCAT Chattanooga, combines skills and knowledge from multiple Tennessee CTE Construction programs of study: Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing Systems, Structural Systems and Residential and Commercial Construction. This approach allows students to build broad knowledge and understanding of all areas to prepare them for a career in construction and/or continued learning and specialized training.

1st year students built these chairs for Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union. They have displayed them at the downtown branch.
