The purpose of the CIO is to provide an alternative form of fitness to the students and faculty of the University of Virginia.
Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. The University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization’s contracts, acts or omissions.

Come join us for our spring interest and planning meeting on Wednesday, 1/31, in the Astronomy Dept conference room from 6:00 -7:00p! Bring your gear if you have it and we will go over setting up your skates for you! Don't have gear, that's okay, come meet skaters and see if roller derby is for you!

We are ready for our first skating practice tonight of 2020 at Carver Recreation Center! If you are a University of Virginia student and want to learn to roller skate and play roller derby, come join us! DM us if you have any questions!
