What has VaHomeschoolers done this year?

-Inclusive Graduation
-One Day Convention
-Transcript Services through Parchment
-Online workshops
-Active Helpdesk Support (Both phone and email)
-Remodeled Website (still in development)
-New Membership model
-New CRM communication tools
-Open discussions with School Districts
-Attending Progressive and alternative education conferences
-Community Discord Server (for volunteers and community conversations)

Beyond the Board of Directors, we have 3 regular volunteers and a handful of wonderful helpers that come out for our events.

If the existence of this organization matters to you. Volunteer. Join as a member. Attend and support the events we host.

In 2019 there was a real possibility that the organization would no longer be able to sustain itself. As a result to the announcement that we would cease services, an outpouring of support came in. This is your reminder that this sort of thing doesn't happen without significant money or time.

Inclusion matters, but it doesn't happen without real effort.

Today we are going and doing a final walkthrough of the museum to make sure our speakers have everything they need and the rooms are set up in the best way possible for the presentations.

Hey. Remember that convention we are hosting on August 8th in Richmond Virginia.

We have heard some feedback and want to share some things with you!

* ALL children are welcome to join any ticket holder at the convention. (We know that this can still be difficult, but hope this can work for some families)
*Reminder that the museum is available to everyone that attends!
