📢 IMPORTANT TICKET & GAME DAY UPDATE 📢

We’re excited for this Friday’s (Sept. 4) football game as Hough High School takes on Providence Day School! 🏈

Due to overwhelming interest, this game is officially SOLD OUT. No additional tickets will be sold at the gate.

To ensure a safe and secure environment for all students, families, staff, and athletes, please review these essential game day policies:
🎟️ No Ticket = No Entry: If you do not have a registered ticket, you will not be permitted on school grounds.
🚫 No Passes Accepted: Due to sold-out status, NCHSAA, Senior Tarheel, and other passes will not be accepted.
🚗 No Loitering: Gathering in the parking lots is prohibited. You must have a ticket to be on campus.
🏟️ Game Day Rules: All spectators must remain seated in the bleachers. No re-entry will be allowed if you leave the stadium.

📚 Momentum is building across Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools! 📈

Superintendent Dr. Crystal Hill traveled to Raleigh yesterday to meet with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction for the official release of statewide student accountability and test results.

We are proud to share that CMS is celebrating its second straight year of rising test scores, along with continued improvements in graduation rates across the district.

These gains reflect the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, administrators, staff, and supportive school families. Thank you for your continued partnership as we work to ensure every student thrives! 🎓✨

June through August is "crazy time" for the CMS Graphic Production Center! As Director Nancy Pierce shares, the crew works nonstop to print student workbooks, staff ID badges, wide-format signs, and essential classroom curriculum for the entire district.
